South African Taxi Signals

After a fabulous weekend I was dropped at the taxi stop and watched the face of my South African friend turn from happy to greatly worried - never a surprising look from someone who doesn't normally take the kombi taxi from here to there. The taxi culture here is SA is what many would call "hectic" or straight up nuts in American lingo. I've been told I even take risks from people who aren't used to living the way we do out in the rural or poor areas of South Africa.


But if you do make it to South Africa and need to get around here are some signals to LEARN.
