Running ooops

This is what I get for running this morning down the forbidden path off into the African bush. I have a matching right hand bandage but that hand was taking the picture. My knee is sooooo swollen and turning black and blue (however, did manage to stumble into town this morning to get coffee with about 8 other PCVs).

Let's hope this settles down by Thursday when I have to travel on the bus hours to get to the PCV Diversity Committee meeting!!

New developments in Northern Cape

I got home from my holiday to find that somehow miracles upon miracles my host family's garden was actually growing in the hot hot HOT Kalahari sun. My host papa Stewart told me in about a month everything would be ready for harvest. CAN'T WAIT!! Nothing like fresh fruit :) yeaaah!

Teachers at school have been bringing in loads and loads of fresh grapes. Mostly the green type but theses were just grown in their backyards and they're delicious. Come February we will have watermelons, peaches, pomegranates, and tomatoes! YUM!!
